Located in Brunei, about 17 miles from the capital, Muara is a bustling port town that provides a glimpse into the country's maritime industry and trade. The country, officially known as the Nation of Brunei, is a small yet fascinating sovereign state located on the northern coast of the island of Borneo in Southeast Asia and is surrounded by the Malaysian state of Sarawak and the South China Sea. Brunei is known for its lush rainforests, pristine beaches, vibrant flora and fauna, as well as its rich history, cultural heritage, and impressive modern development, while being world renowned for its lush landscapes and pristine beaches. Kota Kinabalu , commonly known as KK, faces the South China Sea on the northwest coast of Borneo. As the state of Sabah's capital, it is a sprawling and busy city. Situated between the Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park and Mount Kinabalu, it is a place for snorkeling, hiking and simply watching the ebb and flow of nature. For people watching, there is the KK Waterfront, where a variety restaurants, pubs and cafes vie for the traveler's time and interest. Shopping opportunities abound, with numerous malls offering slick and modern places to make that perfect purchase or two, and the Kota Kinabalu Handicraft Market, formerly known as the Filipino Market, and weekly Gaya Street Market hawking everything from ethnic souvenirs to traditional foods.
Day 6 - Puerto Princesa,Philippines
Enter the subterranean world of Puerto Princesa's Underground River – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders located in the Philippines – surrounded by ethereal rock formations and lush forest where monkeys and monitors casually greet guests. The Palawan capital is also a bustling gateway to El Nido and the breathtaking Bacuit Archipelago, surrounded by limestone cliffs and soaked in sunshine.

Day 10-11 - Manila, Philippines
Set amid the forest-green splendor of Luzon Island is bustling Manila, the second largest city in Southeast Asia, with its towering skyscrapers and remarkable joie de vivre. Yet amid the big-city excitement are oases of calm: lush tropical parks, magnificent cathedrals and dramatic Spanish forts. North of the city, mountains beckon with their spectacular rice terraces, while across Manila Bay stands Mount Mariveles, a dormant volcano studded with scenic hiking trails.
Day 12 - Subic Bay
Swim beneath the waves to discover the sunken treasure of WWII shipwrecks that lures divers from across the world to this former U.S. naval base on Luzon island. Or dive under the bamboo canopy for a hike through the forest that fringes the bay. There are sleepy beach towns and good surf further north along the Zambales coast, as well as vistas of steeply terraced rice fields and the jungle-strung peaks of the Cordillera, which hide ancient Spanish colonial towns in their folds. Here, too, you can discover the curious hanging coffins of Sagada; the mountain town's cliffside caves have been a hallowed burial place for the Igorot people for centuries. The metropolitan thrills of the Philippines' capital, Manila, beckon to the south, home of the world's oldest Chinatown and the crumbling colonial sites of Intramuros, the old Spanish walled city.

Day 16 - Xiamen
Easy-going Xiamen is China's capital of cool, decorated in street art and populated by young designers, with a bustling shopping and café scene on Zhongshan Road. Draped across two islands and part of the mainland across the strait from Taiwan, this is also tea country, close to cultivation hotspots such the tea gardens of Anxi County, and with a long history as a center of tea trading – in the 19th century, the British called it Amoy. It's a beauty, too, thanks to Buddhist places of worship such as the truly magnificent 7th-century South Putuo Temple. Hop on a ferry to the charming old colonial streets of Gulangyu Island, a tranquil place, listed by UNESCO, free of both cars and bicycles.

Jeju, a South Korean island paradise, captivates with its volcanic landscapes and vibrant culture. Known as the `Island of the Gods,` it's a haven of natural wonders, packed full of authentic experiences for those who are willing to explore this lesser visited destination.
Day 21 - Yeosu
Just look at that view of the ocean – no wonder Yeosu means “beautiful waters”. Set on the south coast of mainland South Korea, with a scoop of islands in its bay, this port intoxicates with its high-rise modernity and old soul. The curious traveler will relish what they find here; there are temples, markets, parks and nature reserves to feast on – as well as some of the best seafood in the country. Shop for authentic souvenirs in the markets of Nampo-dong, gaze at the traditional Korean architecture in the old quarter and walk or cycle along the shore in the sea breeze. Take the Yeosu Maritime Cable Car from Jasan Park – one with a transparent floor if you dare look down on the sea far below – to Dolsan island to find Hyangiram Hermitage, a 6th-century Buddhist temple. Or cross the bridge to Odongdo island and follow the trails through the tangle of evergreens and bamboo, fragranced in spring by red camellia blossoms.

Blessed with parks and markets to stroll through, it's hard to resist stretching your legs in South Korea's third-largest city. As you go, savor hot and crunchy deep-fried chicken, dakgangjeong, or a spicy skewer of fish cakes in a warming broth, eomuk, from the street-food stalls in Sinpo Market. Step through the great gate of the only official Chinatown in Korea and discover how its community helped create the country's national dish at the eponymous Jajangmyeon Museum.

Day 26 - Fukuoka, Japan
Visitors from the sea have long been welcomed at this port on Kyushu Island in Japan's lush, subtropical south. Set as close to Taiwan as to Tokyo, it's brimming with pan-Asian flavors and there are plenty of ways to savor them.
Day 27 - Nagasaki
Nagasaki is a thriving city on Kyushu Island's northwestern shores. As Japan's only access to the West, it flourished during a period of national isolation in the 16th century and continues to be influenced by the ideas and technology of other cultures. Must-see attractions include Japan's oldest gothic-style wooden church and the inspirational Peace Park. Also of particular note is the stately Glover Mansion, an impressive hideaway which was the legendary setting of Puccini's opera, Madame Butterfly. A harmonious blend of ancient and modern influences will be yours to enjoy during your sojourn in Nagasaki.

Kagoshima lies cradled within the protective arms of a large inlet on the island's extreme southern tip. It is Japan's southernmost city and combines slow-paced charm with thriving commercial activity. World-renowned Mount Sukurajima stands less than three miles away. This rare example of a busy metropolitan area coexisting with a volcano has led to comparisons between Kagoshima and the Italian city of Naples. Stroll picture-perfect Japanese gardens, explore an abundance of historical sites or shop for traditional pottery.

Views of the sea, high-rises, parks and temples. Kochi has it all. The town is particulary famous for its famous dish, katsuo tataki, a culinary delight of flavorfully seasoned, seared tuna, which draws food fans from all over the world. Once you have had your fill of the delicious local dish, any cravings you have for a taste of Japanese culture are sure to be satisfied during your visit. Meander through the Makino Botanical Garden, explore the Museum of Art, stroll along the nearby beach, barter at the Obiyamachi shopping arcade, visit the aquarium, or simply gaze at the city's most celebrated sight, Kochi Castle. Which remains largely intact atop Otakasaka Hill, and at the top of most traveler's must-see lists.
