Settled in 877 A.D., Reykjavik has grown into an important seaport and center of government and education with theatres, museums and observatories. Day 3 - Djúpivogur, Iceland

Located along the rugged southeastern border of Iceland, you’ll discover the quaint village of Djupivogur, marked by its colorful homes and vast landscapes. This coastal gem has Viking origins and is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers. Discover the art famously dedicated to these feathered locals, most famously the Eggs of Merry Bay—an installation by Sigurður Guðmundsson showcasing 34 enormous granite eggs, each representing a local bird species—lining the road along the bay. Day 4 - Seydisfjordur, Iceland Monday, July 28, 2025

Seydisfjordur is an eclectic little town, tucked away at the end of a deep fjord in the east of Iceland. Surrounded by volcanoes, waterfalls, and in summer, green fields dotted with purple lupins, this former hub for herring fishing is a favorite stop on cruises to Iceland.
